Angels That Work for Quality Services Inc.
It is our motto and personal objective to provide each family with professional and quality services. At Angels That Work, we emphasis quality services for ALL individuals enrolled. Monthly, we have dances to promote healthy interactions and socialization with its families so that there is continuous support for each other.
What You Need To Know
Your loved one should already be enrolled in the HCS (Home and Community Based Services) or TxHmL (Texas Home Living) program in order to qualify for services through Angels That Work.
Areas We Serve
Angels That Work contracts in every area within the state of Texas. Our contracts are available to serve all TxHmL and HCS consumers so that they receive quality services.
Services
Residential Services
This service type is typically called "group home." All of our homes are decorated to high standards & each residents room is decorated to their individual style & preferences. Each room comes with a bed, linens & a dresser drawer should the individual not have their own furnishings. Outings are planned throughout the month to encourage community involvement. All homes are staffed with screened employees who are trained in the home with the residents to see if they work well with them.
Community Services
This service is for families whose loved ones live in their home. Host Home, PAS/HAB & Respite are available for each family. Host Home is available for individuals 18 years or older & enrolled in the HCS program. This service allows the care taker (Host Home Provider) to get paid for 24 hour care. Reimbursement is paid at 100% of HHSC rates allotted for Host Home providers.
PAS/HAB & Respite services are provided & paid hourly based on the individuals needs which are determined by the CFC assessment administered by your designated Service Coordinator. These services allow an eligible family member or staff member who does not reside in the home to work on skills with the individual; i.e. daily living & independent living skills.
Contracted Services
Individualized Skills and Socialization formerly known as Day Habilitation:
Angels That Work does provide Individualized Skills and Socialization services through its sister company The Joyce Johnson Center. We also contract with many different Individualized Skills and Socialization programs all over the City of Houston & surrounding areas. Angels That Work will also assist with locating a day facility that meets your needs.
Therapies:
We contract with all contractors that accept the reimbursable rate as specified by HHSC.

Welcome
The Joyce Johnson Center Inc. is Angels That Work's Individualized Skills & Socialization center. The JJC specializes in improving academic skills, enhancing socialization and peer skills, and increasing daily living and independent living skills. Weekly, The JJC participates in outings and recreational activities.
